Caroline and Eugene are probably the sweetest couple you’ll ever meet. They’re just so passionate about God, each other, and helping other people. I met up with them at one of their friend’s farms just north of Kennesaw, and we were in for an amazingly beautiful engagement session. Be on the look out for their wedding in the coming weeks!
Kayla and Josh are pretty much awesome. I know this for a fact because we all watched the last season or two of Lost together. (Speaking of which, I’m really excited it’s FINALLY coming back on) Anyways. I was pretty excited to hear about their engagement earlier this summer, and even more so when I learned they were interested in having me photograph their wedding, which will take place next summer.
They invited me to do their engagement session at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. The weather was perfect, the campus was gorgeous as always, and Kayla and Josh had no problems getting comfortable in front of the camera.
I think some of my favorite sessions happen when I go into them without a game plan (now that I think about it, that’s true more often than not). But it’s especially the case with my session with Emily and Addison. See, usually I’ll have a set location or general area where couples want to shoot beforehand, but Emily, Addison, and I winged everything about the session. We met up at a home depot parking lot in Alpharetta, and hit 400 north until we found an exit that “looked good”. Then we just kinda went where the session took us. I seriously doubt I’ll ever be able to retrace my steps, but we had a really good time. Definitely have to give credit to Emily and Addison for putting so much trust in me :)
